Well, Barack Obama and his lieutenants want to continue to fight the war of the middle-east in the media. This is a continuation of the pre-election period when the liberals in congress wanted specific dates for when the US would have all troops out of the middle-east. Yes, they wanted and want us to show our “cards”. Now is that how you win at bridge or poker? No. Do professional football teams distribute their weekly play book to their opponent? No. And, it is not how you win a war, including a war on terrorism. This has been such non-sense.
General Stanley McChrystal took command of US Forces Afghanistan on June 15, 2009 and as soon as August 30 he had a 66-page report to Secretaty Gates requesting more troops and other support in Afghanistan ASAP or risk failure. Did not take him long because it is probably obvious to a trained professional warrior, not a left-wing writer for the New York Times
Fighting such conflicts in the media over many years is not the way to do it if one wants to win. Our situation in the middle-east can be laid at the feet of this media strategy. So, this is the issue: The liberal members of the media, which is 90%, do not want the US to win. They think the US it wrong about everything, like Barack Obama thinks.
Question: If our World War II had been fought in the media as we see in today’s media, would we have been successful against Germany and Japan?
